This play presents another side of the great Walt Disney, the unpleasant self-centered, self-serving one. Our version of A Public Reading… was staged inside of the mythical cryogenic chamber in which Disney’s severed head is rumored to be. To support this other side of Disney, the lighting takes inspiration from film noir with tones of green to highlight the dubious morality of the characters onstage.
